The Food Cooperative is a member-owned co-op, governed by a board of directors that is elected by the member-owners. The board oversees the Co-op’s management team, which in turn operates the store and manages the staff who work here.
The Fort Collins Food Co-op operates according to the rules and procedures laid out in two documents: the Bylaws and Policy Governance and E.N.D.S Policies. Read on for more about these documents.
Bylaws
Bylaws lay out how the Cooperative is to be governed. The Cooperative’s governing body abides the Bylaws. Cooperatives usually limit their Bylaws to fundamental governance-level issues. Follow the link below for the Fort Collins Food Cooperative Bylaw information.
