Although the Coop is just like a traditional grocery store in a lot of ways; we are more in that we are considered a community resource. We know our local suppliers and strive to connect them with our customers and members. We serve as an outlet for local producers and grower's products and connect them directly with consumers. Our goal is to strengthen our local economy by complementing the goods other local businesses offer.

The Coop is also a sponsor and host of a number of community events and programming. We participate in Be Local Winter Markets, attend the annual Getting Connected event that brings together food producers and consumers each Februrary, put on a series of free films about food, and provide information and products that educate consumers about their food. Additionally, we also host an annual member meeting, informational seminars, and participate in other events around Northern Colorado.

Our outreach and marketing efforts are supported by an outreach coordinator, as well as a creative director and graphic designer. Although it's rare to see them around the store, you will often find them out and about in the community sharing the resources of the Coop.
